The Milwaukee Bombers moved to clear favorites now in the race for the MAAFL title after an emphatic 78 point drubbing of the Minnesota Freeze in Minneapolis on Saturday. The win took the Bombers to the top of the MAAFL championship table with 4 wins from 4 games, one win clear of both Chicago United and the Nashville Kangaroos.

What is just as note worthy is their big win took their percentage tally to 179.9 almost ensuring that even if they lose in their last MAAFL game to Chicago they could will still win the MAAFL title on a percentage count back. That would happen if the loss to Chicago is just a few goals and not a huge margin. The other chance for Bombers to lose the title is if Nashville can do a similar job on Minnesota away and win big and tie the Bombers with 4 wins and make up the difference in percentage.
